Ciao Y'all

(a phrase that is commonly heard around our flat due to the southern folk)!!

These past couple of days have been pretty busy with classes. I'm at school 9-12:30 and 3-6 monday through thursday. it's not actually that bad, but i often find myself daydreaming about shopping in the markets when i'm supposed to be learning.

Tomorrow our group is going to visit San Giminagno for the day. i'm excited to get out of florence and see some more sights. me and my girls (bonnie and michelle) are going to visit the pope on wednesday. apparently, michelle's dad has connections to that we can actually MEET the pope, not just be in his presence. we'll see how that works out!!

the past couple days i have been wondering the streets of florence and taking pictures. i'll post them on monday. i'm taking a photography class, and we are given assignments each week. this week, our assignment was to photograph buildings of florence. so, when you're looking through my pics, don't be surprised when you don't see too much of me or my friends.

ok, well i'm gonna hit the streets to find some good bargains on italian leather (mom and dad..... don't worry, i'm a great haggler!!) hehe!
